Ipoh's Birch Memorial Clock Tower in front of Ipoh State Mosque officially opened in 1909. The white washed structure acts as a memorial to James Birch, the first British resident of Perak, who was murdered by local Malay chiefs in 1875.

Gunung Lang Recreational Park

Gunung Lang Recreational Park is the man-made cascading waterfall a top a limestone hill. There is also a 2km board walk over the swamp and lookout towers. There are also other facilities like playground, campsite, mini zoo, a player room and washroom.

Qing Xin Ling Leisure and Culture Village

A hidden gem sandwiched between two famous cave temples of Sam Poh Tong and Kek Long Tong. Secluded from the busy city outsides. They provides bicycles and you can choose to ride the bicycle too. There is one of Ipoh's tourist attractions you should not miss.

Geological Museum

Geological Museum are established in 1957. Under the 9th Malaysia Plan, the museum was extensively renovated and upgraded to increase the exhibition space and collection of exhibits in Museum.

Tau Foo Fah

The texture of Tau Foo Fah is just unbelievable, so mellow and it literally glides down your throat effortlessly. It is usually lightly closed with clear sugar syrup plus a pungent hint of ginger and sometimes palm sugar syrup too.

Concubine Lane

Concubine Lane Ipoh has evolved a lot since Ipoh was featured by Lonely Planet in July 2016 in their list of Best Asians destinations to visit. Charming souvenir shops, fashion outlets, cafes and dessert houses line this nostalgic street of Ipoh. The street literally comes to life during the weekends! It is a must to visit Concubine Lane when you are in Ipoh! Try out their dessert here, it is very nice!

This is the most famous yong tau fu in Ipoh. It is a must to come here to enjoy their yong tau fu when you are in Ipoh. It is also known as ‘Dai Shu Keok’ yong tau fu, Choong Kee operates like a mini factory constantly churning out freshly fried items which you can enjoy with koay teow soup or asam laksa. Fried turnip is a must-try here, as you can’t find it easily at other yong tau fu stalls outside Ipoh.

Mee Hakka

You will be serve with a serving of lobak (five-spice meat rolls traditionally made from pork tenderloin, spices and beancurd sheets) and meatball soup to go with your springy noodles, or you can have it simply with its mince pork toppings. It is very nice and you should try it!
